6xW Announce Llogic Limited – A new Joint Venture Company with Alazen

Medical-Slate-26xW, together with partner Alazen, are delighted to announce the foundation of Llogic Limited a joint venture operation between the two companies.

Llogic will build on the contract with Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board to fully commercialise the mobile patient notes platform currently being developed in partnership with the Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

Paul Cook, Joint Managing Director of 6xW, welcomed the new venture:-  “We are very excited to be part of this venture with the objective of bringing true innovation to the Healthcare market”  The two organisation have worked closely together over the last 12 months successfully delivering the initial application proof of concept and demonstrating a significant potential increase in the amount of time that Nurses on the ward have to spend with their patients”

The project follows on from a highly innovative and successful first phase proof of concept that has demonstrated the feasibility of the solution, the ease of use and the potential to deliver significant savings in the acute environment.

This contract has been funded by The Welsh Government, Department for Economy, Science and Transport in partnership with Innovate UK, by introducing and co-sponsoring the Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) Innovation Catalyst Programme.
